Communication architecture

The machine sets the context. VALENT adapts.

OPC UA is our primary communication method. Where needed, we assess other industrial integration options against clear technical criteria.

Adaptable connectivity

A clear starting point, without closing other doors

OPC UA is the product’s primary communication method. For different architectures, we assess integration with the available equipment.

PRIMARY

OPC UA

Primary route for bringing machine variables and data into VALENT, depending on each PLC or server’s capabilities and configuration.

UNDER ASSESSMENT

Modbus TCP

Potential development or adaptation based on the equipment, register map and project requirements.

UNDER ASSESSMENT

EtherNet/IP

Integration to be assessed according to manufacturer, device and communication requirements.

INSTALLATION-DEPENDENT

Other systems

We can assess alternatives for connecting or exchanging data, subject to feasibility.

Reading and writing

Each module serves a different purpose

Alarm Manager and Viewer focus on reading machine states and alarms. VALENT HMI is intended to support authorised commands, so the platform as a whole cannot be described as read-only.

01

Monitoring

Reading installation variables, events and conditions.

02

Information and analysis

Processing captured data based on module and available signals.

03

Authorised control

Write access or control only where permitted by the product, PLC and safety assessment.

Technical assessment

Validate before committing to an integration

We assess data availability, protocol, permissions, architecture and the project’s functional scope.

Let’s talk about your installation
